DB2 for i has made great strides in providing IBM i Services to access IBM i operating system detail. Those services are used by System administrators and application developers.
A lesser known fact is that a great many DB2 for i Services exist to help Database Engineers (DBEs) and Database Administrators (DBAs) improve their productivity.
This session will address some of the most important tasks for a DBE on DB2 for i and show how SQL and DB2 for i Services can be used to streamline, automate and improve mission critical tasks.
